A Boy Scout troop presents President Herbert Hoover with a gift. The White House, 1934, 8/7/31.
Look at the very serious expressions of these Scouts.
Happy 102nd anniversary to the Boy Scouts of America!

I think that date would have to be earlier than 1934, wouldn’t it? President Hoover left the White House in March 1933 and didn’t come anywhere near it while FDR was in office. (I don’t know why I’m nit-picking…sorry!)
